I strongly believe that places cannot be entirely told, they need to be experienced. However, if I had to explain to you what Salento is, I would use the 5 senses and this playlist in the background.

Salento is a geographical area of the Italian region Puglia (Apulia), the heel of the boot, in the South of Italy. It corresponds to the provinces of Lecce and Brindisi.
